Bushmills lays claim to being the oldest licensed distillery in the world. Having been granted a licence to distil in 1608, today Bushmills has grown to become one of the most recognisable Irish whiskey brands.
Bushmills produces a range of whiskey, from triple-distilled single malts to smooth, affordable blends.
Perhaps its most lauded expression though is Bushmills 16 Year Old, a tropical, fruity and mouth-wateringly delicious single malt matured for 15 years in ex-Bourbon and oloroso Sherry casks before being finished for around nine months in Port wine casks.
This is a stunning whiskey brimming with tropical fruit notes of peach and mango alongside dark chocolate, toasted almonds and jammy berries.
